2. The secret to slip resistance
On the flipped side of the cover, Teijin uses fabric made from ultra-fine fiber called 'Nano Front ®' developed by Teijin. The strong friction prevents the inner futon from shifting.
What is the Nanofront ® that generates friction?
The secret to the friction generated by the N-grip lies in a thread called Nanofront ®, developed by Teijin. By gathering these ultra-fine threads (= nanofronts ®) into thread-like structures and increasing the surface area, the contact surface area increases, generating strong friction. This frictional force helps prevent the futon inside from shifting. (Since the Nanofront ® is only on one side, the futon can be put on and taken off smoothly.) ) Additionally, because it is made of ultra-fine yarn, the fabric is soft and gentle on the skin.
Compared to microfiber, which is generally said to be thin, it's even thinner!
