- Handle: phenolic resin (heat resistant to 150 °C).
- Handle cap: nylon (heat resistant to 150 °C).
- Pan size: 28 cm.
Care Instructions
- To remove burnt-on food, do not use hard metal implements. Soak the pan in hot water to soften the residue first, then wipe it away.
- After use, wash thoroughly with a sponge and diluted neutral washing-up liquid, drain any water from the hole beneath the handle bracket, wipe dry and allow to air dry.
- Do not soak the handle in water while washing. The screws inside can corrode and the handle may become hot when the pan is reheated.
- Do not use steel wool or scouring powder.
- Not dishwasher safe. Dishwasher and other alkaline detergents can cause corrosion and discolouration.
- Wipe a thin layer of oil over the cooking surface before every use. This helps the non-stick coating last longer; cooking without oil can cause food to stick.
Safety & Handling
- For domestic cooking use only.
- Before use, always check that the handle is not loose or cracked.
- Fine marks may be present on the inner surface as a result of the manufacturing process. Before first use, wash thoroughly with a sponge and diluted neutral washing-up liquid, dry, then wipe over with a little oil before cooking.
- Preheat and cook on medium heat or lower, and never preheat for more than 30 seconds. Take particular care with induction hobs of 3 kW or more, as the output is very high and can cause warping or burns.
- Do not use metal turners, as they may damage the surface coating. Use wooden or resin utensils instead.
- Do not use on a heating stove or in a microwave oven, as this may cause damage or fire.
- Do not use for deep-frying, as this may cause burns.
- Do not modify the pan or attempt a temporary repair if the handle becomes loose or damaged.
- The body and handle become hot during and immediately after cooking. Use oven gloves or a cloth.
- Do not drop the pan from a height or subject it to sudden impact.
- Do not leave salty, alkaline or acidic foods standing in the pan, as this can cause corrosion.
- Do not use the pan while the handle screws are loose. Retighten them first; a handle that comes away can cause burns.
- Never heat the pan empty. This can cause burns, fire, coating loss or warping.
- Let the pan cool naturally before cleaning, or after any accidental dry heating. Cooling it rapidly with water while hot damages the coating and causes flaking and sticking.
- Do not leave the pan in contact with dissimilar metals such as iron, as this can cause rust.
- Take care to avoid boil-overs, and do not fill liquids right up to the rim.
- Do not leave the pan soiled, and do not leave cooked food standing in it. This can cause the coating to flake or blister and can lead to corrosion.
- Always ventilate the kitchen while cooking.
- On an induction hob, place the pan centrally over the induction ring, otherwise it may waste power or fail to work correctly.
- Do not use cookware with a warped base on an induction hob, as it may not operate correctly.
